Jeffrey Wishon

Jeffrey Wishon brings a unique blend of education, technology, and leadership expertise to Blackhawk Contracting LLC. With 17 years as a teacher, Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education, a Master of Arts in Health Studies, and an Educational Specialist in Instructional Technology. Additionally, he holds a Tier 2 Educational Leadership certification, demonstrating his commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in his field.

Jeffrey's background as a teacher and coach has instilled in him a deep understanding of the importance of organization, communication, and teamwork. His proficiency in technology enables Blackhawk Contracting to stay at the forefront of industry trends and effectively manage projects with precision and efficiency.

At the heart of Jeffrey's approach to business is a firm belief in the power of relationships and integrity He understands that trust is earned through transparency, reliability, and delivering on promises. Whether it's working closely with clients to understand their needs or collaborating with partners and vendors, Jeffrey is dedicated to ensuring that Blackhawk Contracting consistently exceeds expectations.

Outside of work, Jeffrey loves spending time with his beautiful wife Brianne and their children Emma Kate and Maddox, enjoying family time at the beach, football games where Emma Kate cheers, or at the T-Ball field.

Brandon Woodman

Brandon brings 20 years of professional/corporate sales and management experience to our team. After being in the roofing industry for several years, Brandon decided it was time to open his own company and roof the “Right Way”. With help from his partners, New Image Roofs, LLC has become a reality. Brandon strives to break the mold and brings solutions-based approach to the construction industry. Brandon has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Technical Communications from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA. Brandon’s education, experience, dedication and training are a valuable asset to his customers. Brandon uses his exceptional negotiating skills, attention to detail, customer service and knowledge of the industry to successfully help and guide his customers through the restoration process. Brandon understands what it takes to get the job done and will go the extra mile for his customers every time. Brandon enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Lucy, and two wonderful kids.

Derek Huggins

Derek is a seasoned professional with a passion for revitalizing residential spaces and specializes in investor flips.

Before joining Blackhawk Contracting, Derek had diverse career experiences, including roles as a personal trainer and a high school physical education teacher and football coach, as well as several years in the residential renovation industry. These experiences, coupled with his expertise in residential

renovations, have equipped him with invaluable problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively towards a common goal.

As an integral part of our team, Derek brings a unique perspective to each project. His dedication to customer satisfaction and his unwavering attention to detail ensures that each job is executed with precision and care, maximizing return on investment for our clients.

When Derek isn't busy transforming houses, he cherishes spending time with his family. He is married to

his beautiful wife Marquita and is a proud father to their daughter Jordyn, son D.J., and other son, Jacob. Most of their free time is spent supporting and watching their kids compete in a variety of sports.

Chip Phillips

Chip comes from a background in residential and commercial construction. Having been raised in West Cobb, he is familiar to many local families and has a knowledge based on years of experience operating in the area. He is a licensed general contractor with a strong knowledge of building codes and best practices in the industry. He has worked in construction for over 20 years and has owned his own remodeling company.

Chip grew up playing ball at Oregon Park, hiking trails at Kennesaw Mountain, and attended Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Georgia. After graduating from Young Harris College, he found his passion in custom woodworking and his desire to provide superior quality and satisfaction to every customer that he worked with.

Years of customer interaction has driven him to strive to do his very best to satisfy every customer on every job with a passion for excellence. He brings this same passion to our company and pledges to make every experience exceptional for his customers.

Chip is married to his wife Brittney and they live in Paulding County with their two wonderful children. He enjoys spending time with family, watching football, cooking, and is heavily involved locally with the Boy Scouts of America as both a leader and Cub Master.
